A chance to spend quality time with your child whilst stretching, moving and relaxing together. Yoga with toddlers starts at about 12months to pre-school age as the moves and stretches, accompanied by lots of songs, can be assisted or practiced independently depending on the child’s developmental stage.
These classes can help establish good breathing habits, maintain flexibility from babyhood, support the child through the challenges of developmental transitions, help you & and your child enjoy shared fun and laughter in a social context, pass on the wonderful life skill of relaxation to children, & maintain loving contact with your child as they become more independent.
Sessions last about 45/50mins and although we occasionally use a few props please don’t bring toys or food to eat during class as this makes children less likely to join in and can cause problems with food allergies etc.
